Helen Cammock’s commission for the Law Society’s bicentenary is on view at the Society Hall on Chancery Lane, London.

Titled ‘A People’s Practice', Cammock’s three-part work comprises a poem written in steel letters, a fabric banner and a series of line drawings etched into plywood. The installation explores justice, injustice and inequity – past, present and future.

“This commission is both a call to action and an acknowledgement of the weight carried by solicitors working to ensure equality before the law.”
