Dream Works: Jordan Kasey, Luke Rudolf, Jonathan Trayte & Madelon Vriesendorp

Dream Works assembles four artists who manipulate existing conceptions of classicism and surrealism, harnessing the power of the irrational and the uncanny.

 

JORDAN KASEY was born in 1985 in Chicago, Illinois. She lives and works in Brooklyn. LUKE RUDOLF was born in 1977 in London where he now lives and works. Exhibitions include FIFTEEN, Kate MacGarry, London,2017; Summer Reading, Zieher Smith & Horton, New York, 2015; Luke Rudolf, Kate MacGarry, London, 2015; Newspeak: British Art Now pt.2, Saatchi Gallery, London, 2010.

JONATHAN TRAYTE was born in 1980 in Huddersfield. He lives and works in London.


Recent exhibitions include Tropicana, Christies Mayfair, London. 2017; Identify your LimitationsAcknowledge the Periphery, Vitrine Gallery, Basel, Switzerland, 2017; Art Ikon, Whitechapel Gallery, London, 2017; Polyculture, The Tetley, Leeds, 2016. He will be included in The Whitechapel London Open 2018.

 

MADELON VRIESENDORP, was born in 1945 in Bilthoven, Holland. Her work has been exhibited at The Guggenheim, New York; Centre Pompidou, Paris; Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam; Gallery Ma, Tokyo; V&A, London, Serpentine Gallery, London and MoMA, New York, among others. In 2009 she was awarded an Honorable fellowship by RIBA.
